A tide rolling in
These images are part of a series of images made along the Welsh coast.
Gazing at the breaking waves can be a humbling experience. They roll in relentlessly, yet the same wave can never break twice; the inevitable passage of time and our own inconsequence is played out on the shore among the spume.
These images are all made with a 1920s Kodak field camera on 10x8 colour negative film, and were created around the coast of Wales between 2006 and 2008.
