Often passed by with indifference in daytime, these
trees take on a mysterious presence at night. The long exposures allow
for the play of light to ‘perform’ on
the negatives, recording subtle transformations of time and space.
Trees
feature strongly in mythology, reflecting strong cultural relationships
with the environment.
Adding to the mystery, the performance and exploration
of dark and light continues in the darkroom.
